I love the Dollar Tree. They have all kinds of stuff, and if you shop carefully, you can get some great deals! Even better, they accept coupons, so it is possible to get things for free.
I was in a Dollar Tree yesterday, and went down the beauty aisle. I wasn’t feeling any of the polish they had, but then I stumbled across nail art supplies! There were rhinestone sets that included a top coat, loose glitter, micro beads (caviar), hex glitter, rectangle shaped glitter, (I don’t know the real name for it…it’s the kind that is like little lines) ice chip glitter, shaped glitter, like hearts, stars, and more. Each set comes with multiple colors in small vials. You don’t get a ton of the product, but for $1, it is great for a few manis, lots of accents nails, or just to try something new without having to invest a ton of money in it.
I chose a few of them to take home with me. The ones that I didn’t pick aren’t because they looked bad, it’s because I felt like I had enough of that type of thing at home already.
I decided to go with the rectangle glitter, nail caviar, hex glitter, and ice chip glitter.
The rectangle glitter came in bright blue, purple, pearl, red, pink, holographic, yellow, and orange. To me, that seems like a nice variety to work with.
The nail caviar came in green, red, white, royal blue, purple, light blue, pink, and gold. What I liked about these is that the caviar seemed to be the color all the way through, versus just a colored silver ball. When it is a colored ball, I battle with the color not rubbing off.
The hexes came in holographic, pink, pearl, blue, green, yellow, light blue, and gold.
The ice chip glitter came in gold, green, light blue, pink, dark purple, light purple, blue, and red. I have never worked with this before, but have seen it on nails. I am anxious to try it.
Sorry for the picture quality. Like I said before, you don’t get a ton of product, but it is a great way to try something new without wasting a ton of money. I hope you give them a try!
Thanks for reading. Toodles!
