Snowflake Stamps

Winter Nail Art

While some of the country is buried in snow, the rest of us have barely seen an inch.  We finally got a few flakes here, and I was ready to do a snowy look.

Color Club Holographic Polish

For this look, I used Color Club Blue Heaven, OPI Sheer Tints I Can Teal You Like Me, and Wet ‘n’ Wild Hallucinate.  There wasn’t enough sunshine to be able to tell, but the Color Club is a holo, and the Wet ‘n’ Wild is an iridescent glitter.  (I also used a white stamping polish that doesn’t have any brand.)

I began by painting all of my nails with one coat of Blue Heaven.  Then, I stamped my first layer of snowflakes.  Next, was a layer of the Sheer Tints, followed by more snowflakes, followed by Sheer Tints, then a final layer of snowflakes that were topped off by the glitter polish.

Bundle Monster Stamping Plates

I took turns experimenting with these plates and different stampers, so there are different snowflakes for every layer.  These plates are from Born Pretty, Bundle Monster, and Pueen.

The finished product was a frosty look that perfectly matched the frosty weather.  I hope you like!

Purple Bridesmaid

Bridal Party Nail Art

I recently was in a wedding that was using purple as the color, and did I match that ish or what?  LOL

OPI Color Paints Purple Perspective

I began by painting all of my nails with Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Celeb City.  This is hands down, my favorite silver polish.  I actually like it underneath the Color Paints much better than the polish that OPI released with them.  After the silver base dried, I painted all of my nails with one coat of OPI Color Paints Purple Perspective.

Bundle Monster Plate H16

After that dried, I used a Bundle Monster plate, Konad stamper and scraper, and white stamping polish from the Born Pretty Store.  I chose the rose type of image and stamped all of the nails with white.

Originally, I was going to leave my nails purple and white to match the bouquet, but I thought it was too much, and that’s where the OPI Sheer Tints Don’t Violet Me Down (pictured above) came into play.  One coat of that over all of the nails toned down the white perfectly.  And, as a subtle accent, I used a heart rhinestone on each of my ring fingers.

I was honestly very happy with how these turned out.  They matched, and were actually pretty easy to do.  It makes me want to match other Color Paints with Sheer Tints.  🙂

Favorite Nails of the Season!

Autumn Nail Stamping

These fall nails may be my favorite fall nails I have ever done.  They aren’t super flashy or complicated, but I really enjoyed wearing them!  Be ready for lots of pics.  (Also, I am trying to get used to the new WordPress layout, so there’s that.)

Bundle Monster

I used a Bundle Monster plate with a Konad stamper and scraper.

Cancer Moon

But, before we get into all of that, let me tell you that I painted all of my nails with Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Cancer Moon as a base.  This is a neutral with a golden shine that seemed perfect for this look!

Nail Polish for Stamping

For the stamping, I used these polishes.  From left to right they are: OPI I Sing in Color, Sally Hansen Lustre Shine, Zoya Channing, Julep Valerie, Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Jungle Gem, Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Branch Out, Sally Hansen Patent Gloss Moto, Sally Hansen Insta Dri Vanished, and China Glaze Don’t Make Me Wine.  All of these worked together beautifully to make the multicolored leaved.  I am posting a few extra pics so you can try to get a fee for the polishes.  A lot of them are duo/multichromes, have shines, etc.

Okay, for the stamping.  In the following pics, I was experimenting with a yellow that didn’t make the cut, but you can ignore that.  🙂

Multicolored Nail Stamping

First, I blob a bit of each color on the plate.

Konad Stamping

Then, I scrape.  The colors do not blur together the way you would think they would.

Here is a stamp on paper to preview the colors.

After I stamped all of my nails I put on a quick topcoat.  (You can see a few smudges from where I should have waited a moment longer.)

Now for the tons of pics!
